Use plenty of flux. Install R32 and R31. They are 0805 resistors and value can be lowered to 470 ohms for brighter display Install 0805 LED D1 and D2. Observe the polarity marking with respect to the '+' silkscreen mark. Install C10, 10uF filter cap. Follow the polarity marking Install R25, R8-R15 (100 ohm resistors), C14 (100pF), and R24, R26 (4.7K) Flip the pc board over and install all SMT passive components Install the 2 SIP resistors, R3, R27 Install the 4 pin sockets for U6 (24MHz full size oscillator) Install 32-pin socket for U3 and U4 install the 4-pin jumper block for J3-J6. The hole size is too small for wire-wrap pins, so use dual row WW pin header with 20 mil tails. Install U11, EC300 14.7Mhz dual oscillator. Install a jumper wire from T14 to T15 Install P3, Altera programming header. Install the two push button switches for NMI and RESET Install 2.5mm power jack Install voltage supervisor, MCP130D. Install 68-pin socket for U1, observe the polarity marking of the socket. Install the 4-pin serial port connector. Only solder three pins, GND, Rx, Tx. Cut short the pin meant for VCC, solder a wire from '+' terminal on pcb to the pin that was cut short. Wash the board Program Altera EPM7128 first before populating the board Jumper J3-J6 block as J3-J6, J4-J5. This configures U3/U4 as 128Kx8 RAM Power up, current consumption should be around 270mA. Load TinyLoad and Glitchmon and observe proper operations Solder CF adapter. Try cpm22all with CP/M22 distro in CF drive. Do not populate R11 and R15 Install 5 bypass capacitors, C4-C8 [[https://retrobrewcomputers.org/lib/exe/fetch.php?tok=2aef2d&media=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.retrobrewcomputers.org%2Flib%2Fplugins%2Fckgedit%2Ffckeditor%2Fuserfiles%2Fimage%2Fbuilderpages%2Fplasmo%2Ftinyz280%2Fdsc_33210127.jpg|{{https://retrobrewcomputers.org/lib/exe/fetch.php?w=600&h=636&tok=df933c&media=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.retrobrewcomputers.org%2Flib%2Fplugins%2Fckgedit%2Ffckeditor%2Fuserfiles%2Fimage%2Fbuilderpages%2Fplasmo%2Ftinyz280%2Fdsc_33210127.jpg?600x636|www.retrobrewcomputers.org_lib_plugins_ckgedit_fckeditor_userfiles_image_builderpages_plasmo_tinyz280_dsc_33210127.jpg}}]]
